CNC report from Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Bangkok
Typhoon Utor has made landfall in Southeast China, wreaking havoc in Hong Kong, though no casualties have yet been reported. Earlier this week the storm devastated parts of the Philippines, killing at least two people, leaving 44 others missing and causing millions of dollars in damage.
Utor is the 11th typhoon to hit China this year, and probably the strongest one so far.
